Targetted Recovery Massage

Targetted recovery massage is most suitable for athletes looking to optimise performance and reduce recovery time, individuals experiencing general upper and lower body fatigue from daily activities, or those in the later stages of injury recovery looking to maintain flexibility and promote overall health. Anyone looking pre-event preparation or post-workout/event recovery would also benefit.

Primary Goal: To aid the body's natural recovery process, particularly after physical exertion or as part of rehab after injury. The emphasis is on restoring the upper or lower body's optimal function and reducing post-activity soreness.

Recovery massage focuses on specific areas, often the upper body (shoulders, neck, arms, back) or lower body (hips, thighs, calves, feet). 

It uses a combination of deep tissue, Swedish, myofascial release* and trigger point therapy techniques.

*Fascia is the connective tissue surrounding muscles 

Each session is preceded by a follow-up from the initial massage appointment or previous session.
